PROJECT BRIEF
This project created a one-page responsive portfolio website for a freelance make-up artist. The client wanted a user friendly modern website that runs on mobile, tablet and desktop devices. The website has to showcase her works so she can promote and attract new clients. She would like a clean and modern style which includes her experience, profile, history, photo gallery, the latest makeup trends, and contact details. Portfolio images are provided.
CHALLENGE
Designing a website that looks beautiful on multiple devices and creates a memorable visit for the viewer. Finding the best technologies to provide a responsive and intuitive interface.
SOLUTION
Produced a fully responsive website which uses HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript jQuery technologies. The final website shows all content and photos in one easy to view page. Images are all optimised so the website is fast loading to create a better user experience. Tablet and Mobile layouts support touch including sliding the image gallery. Mobile has a popup navigation menu to maximize screen size. Used the Google Maps API geolocation for map, which helps quick navigation. The website was tested with multiple users to help understand customer needs.
