PROJECT BRIEF
Write and illustrate a children's book which tells an fun story that Wellington children can relate with.
CHALLENGE
Develop a character and come up with a fun story which keeps children interested.
SOLUTION
The book is a character driven story which is funny and colourful and enables children to learn to read by pictures. Characters were first created by concept sketch and subsequent wireframe storyboard were created. Designed a simple character who struggles to use her umbrella in the windy Wellington weather. I chose a fun typography to appeal to children.
